Spark an Adventure at Heather Lake

Winter, Summer, Spring or Fall — Spark an Adventure at Heather Lake

Looking for a hike with lush waterfalls, massive trees, mountain peaks and an alpine lake? Keep reading. You’ll want to spark an adventure at our latest location.

We recently teamed up with Alexis, an avid hiker around the Pacific Northwest, and her best friend Torrey for this rainy adventure. Heather Lake is a popular Washington trail and one that’s been on our list for years. We couldn’t wait to see what all the buzz is about.

Our Trek up the Trail

We arrived to the trailhead only to be greeted with rain. Never one to let weather deter us, we layered up, packed our bags and hit the ground hiking. Only this didn’t feel like a trail, more like an uphill stream.

We made our first stop at a gorgeous waterfall and Alexis pulled out some Wifi OG. An earthy, sour sativa-oriented high is just what we need to make it through the rain. We might be in a dead zone, but Wifi OG always gets us five bars high.

Dabs in the Wild at Heather Lake

By the time we got to Heather Lake the rain picked up and temperatures dropped. Despite the inability to feel our fingers, we couldn’t believe the breathtaking view. We needed to take dabs in the wild.

Before long, we found ourselves yelling “DABS IN THE WILD” at the top of our lungs. Voices echoed across the lake. We heard the rumble of avalanches and watched as snow barreled down the mountains.

We took out the dab rig and Alexis heated the nail. Today’s dabs in the wild? Gelato. Sure it might be freezing, but this Sunset Sherbet x Thin Mint hybrid is said to provide feelings of relaxation while still keeping you productive. It’s a classic strain and one we love for a daytime high.

Wrap the Day with a Preroll

While we love dabs in the wild, we quickly learned dabs in the rain results in hot oil splattered on your face. It’s not something we recommend. Instead, we decided to wrap the day with a preroll.

Torrey pulled out farm favorite Powderhound. This Jack Herrer x mystery cross came to us years ago. It’s our team’s daily smoke and one we love to power our icy bodies up and down the trail. If you love citrus energizing sativas, you’ll want to smoke this.

Remember When You Spark an Adventure

We feel fortunate to live in such a stunning state. Since we share these special locations, we ask you please keep them that way. Always pack out what you pack in (or even more!) and never leave cannabis trash in the wild. Yes, even those “biodegradable” roaches still take years to decompose. Spark an adventure, but do so responsibly.

Thank you to Alexis and Torrey for joining us on our adventure to Heather Lake. Make sure you follow them on Instagram at @lassosafroworld and @nwtorrey. Want to locate Lazy Bee before sparking your own adventure? Click here to find us!
