Retail Buzz: Uncle Ike's Pot Shop

Uncle Ike’s Pot Shop Opens Lake City Location

If you live in the Seattle area, you’re probably familiar with Uncle Ike’s, also known as “Seattle’s Favorite Pot Shop.” With a huge selection of products and great prices, it’s no surprise Uncle Ike’s Pot Shop is so popular in the Emerald City. We’re proud to retail our Lazy Bee products with this classic Seattle dispensary.

The retail chain spans across the city with several locations. You can find Uncle Ike’s Pot Shop in Capitol Hill, Central District and White Center. Plus, they recently opened a new location on Lake City Way! That’s a lot of Ike.

Each location offers a variety of Lazy Bee Gardens flowers, pre-rolls and extracts. Looking for something specific? We recommend you check the menu beforehand as it varies from store to store.

Ike’s Taking Action on COVID-19

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, Uncle Ike’s has taken precautions to keep the cannabis community safe. Since shooting these photos, the stores have implemented six-feet of distancing between customers and staff. They’ve also encouraged online ordering to help reduce the number of people in their stores.

Uncle Ike’s is also looking out for our community’s most vulnerable during this difficult time. They’ve set aside Sunday mornings from 8 to 9AM for the elderly and immuno-compromised. If you identify as either of these, there is a safe time for you to stop and shop.

How Uncle Ike’s Gives Back

We love Uncle Ike’s because they offer so many products at great prices, but there’s so much more. They also emphasize community involvement and giving back which we appreciate in this industry. Uncle Ike’s pot shop does regular community cleanups in the neighborhoods they operate in and supports a number of charities in the area.

During Seattle’s Pride events, Uncle Ike’s also teams up with Entre Hermanos, an organization that promotes the health and well-being of the Latino LGBTQ community through disease prevention, education, and other advocacy. During this time, they donate 5% of their proceeds to Entre Hermanos while various vendors match their contributions. Last year they donated over $40,000!

Shop and Save

Uncle Ike’s offers specials on various items, including discounts on products from independent small growers. They also give out free swag like t-shirts and ashtrays at Glass & Goods. Loyalty members can also benefit from their price-match guarantee, which promises to match prices with identical products from Seattle competitors.

We love Uncle Ike’s and have a feeling they are fancy on us, too. In The Sesh, a cannabis media site sponsored by Uncle Ike’s, Lazy Bee Gardens has been mentioned several times. From a profile on our garden to reviews of our Shape Shifter strain and terp sugar, they’ve shown us plenty of love.

Uncle Ike’s is open from 8 am to 11:45 pm every day. Don’t forget to bring a valid ID, cash and debt card. Stop in, say hi, then go get high!
