We recently teamed up with Alexis, an avid hiker around the Pacific Northwest, and her best friend Torrey for this rainy adventure. Heather Lake is a popular Washington State trail and one that’s been on our list for years. We couldn’t wait to see what all the buzz is about.

At Lazy Bee Gardens, we’ve sparked many adventures. However, with so many stunning locations in such close proximity, it can be hard to decide where to hike. Do you want serene alpine lakes or mountain lookouts? Open meadows or panoramic views? If you’re looking for a hike that has it all, you’ll want to spark an adventure at Park Butte Lookout.

We teamed up with Jerdan and Madi for this adventure after meeting them through the cannabis industry. They recently completed this hike and offered to take us. So we feel fortunate they’ve shared such a special location with the Lazy Bee Gardens community.

Spark an Adventure at Boulder River

Over the river and through the woods lies a lush oasis. A large waterfall splits down a mossy cliff. Vibrant teal glacial waters flow over smooth rocks. Are we in the tropics? Nope, it’s Boulder River in Washington State!

We recently went out to spark an adventure at this secluded spot. Boulder River is a bumpy drive (seriously, don’t drive a small car out there) out of cell range so it’s not usually crowded. Our friend and talented photographer Keti also joined.

Spark an Adventure at Franklin Falls

Winter is in full effect. Both the cities and mountains have been bombarded by snow. Employees are bundled up as they work from home. But if you’re like Lazy Bee Gardens, this is the best time to spark an adventure. And that’s just what we did as we trekked through the snow to one of our favorite locations — Franklin Falls.

This trail is a standout, and the first to kick off our #SparkAnAdventure campaign. We chose Franklin Falls for its proximity to Seattle, vibrant green waters and of course, the magnificent waterfall that becomes a frozen wonder in the winter. If you’re new to Washington, or even new to hiking, this trail is a must.
